of course a lot has changed since the first settlers came to this area in the beginning of the 17th century. But still some things up here in Kiruna, Lapland might seem ancient to you. Moose, bear and wolverine still leave their tracks in the soft tundra ground, salmon still jump the rapids in untamed rivers. Today Kiruna is the fourth largest municipality by area on our earth.
On the other hand you might feel like someone would have beamed you into the future. For example when the Swedish Space Corporation SSC is launching a rocket or when you learn about the future plans of Kirunas mining company LKAB during your visit in the worlds' largest undergeround iron ore mine.
Winter incentive means for us to show your group a "best of" these two worlds - and to open your participants' senses for the mysticism of the past and the impressions of the future.
